Abby Dymond

Artstic Director  

Instructor, Choreographer

Trained at the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, the prestigious University of Arizona School of Fine Arts Dance Program and was an Ensemble Company member.  A former Washington Redskins Cheerleader Captain, choreographer & 2012 Pro Bowl Cheerleader, Abby's traveled on 12 Military Appreciation Tours worldwide, including four times to combat zones in Afghanistan & Iraq. She performed for 4 years with a professional dance company in D.C. gracing the stage of the Lincoln Theater. She's also performed in the Chinese New Years Parade in Hong Kong, for the IPL Cricket League in India, & with artists Hot Chelle Rae, Wale, Montgomery Gentry & The Beach Boys.

Alex Trakas

Instructor & Choreographer

Alex holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Shenandoah University Conservatory with a strong concentration in choreography. She won two local competitions in 2011 &  2012 for her duet work "No Words To Describe It." She was also showcased in another original duet, "I Will Always" at The French Embassy in Washington D.C. Fashion Week. Alex performed as a principle dancer at SAX Lounge in Washington D.C. & assisted in choreography. Performed with Modern Company, Eklibre Dance Company, in NYC. Alexandra is now a full time instructor & Manager of The Bar Method DC studio. 

 

Ashley Clausnitzer

Instructor & Choreographer

Former member of the UDA National Champion University of Tennessee Dance Team & former Washington Redskins Cheerleader & choreographer. She's a member and choreographer of a professional dance company in Washington, D.C. Ashley has performed with artists Wale, Chuck Brown, Rachel Panay, Billy Ray Cyrus, and on stage at the Kennedy Center, Alvin Ailey Studios, Lincoln Theatre & at National Dance Day and the National Cherry Blossom Festival. 

 

Jennifer Cordiner
 Instructor & Choreographer

 

 

Jennifer is a Radio City Rockette, and has performed in the National Tours of Spamalot, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Liza). Regional credits include Olney Theatre Center's A Chorus Line (Val, Helen Hayes Nominee), Papermill Playhouse’s A Chorus Line (Swing), Anything Goes (Charity), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), and The Producers (Ensemble). Jen danced on PBS’ “Live From Lincoln Center: One Singular Sensation: Celebrating Marvin Hamlisch”. She has also appeared on television and in person interviews as a media Rockette  & has introduced Dr. Oz, dancing in his annual Health Corps. Benefit Gala. Other TV credits include, Gossip Girl, Cashmere Mafia, and Law and Order. 

Jessi Peralta

Guest Choreographer & Guest Instructor

Performed in A&E’s “The Great Gatsby”,  “Broadway Celebrates the Spirit of Harlem” & toured with Princess Cruise lines. She's danced with Christina Aguilera, Rascal Flatts & her TV credits include, Fame, MTV Movie Awards, The American Music Awards, “The Vampire Diaries”, she was a finalist on the MTV show “The Wade Robson Project” & Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” (Season 3 Top 8 Finalist). Former dance captain of the Los Angeles Pussycat Dolls & NFL Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders she was the subject of a “World of Jenks” documentary on MTV. Look for her in an acting role in Anchorman 2!

Marge Allen

Instructor & Choreographer

Instructor & Choreographer Marge Allen is a grad of the 2-year professional contemporary circus school, FLIC Scuola di Circo located in Torino, Italy & she specializes in handstands and dance acrobatics. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with magna cum laude honors in dance performance and choreography with an award for excellence in choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Lindsey Murray

Instructor & Choreographer

Trained at Helene Yelverton Dance Studio in Upstate NY & member of the Ithaca College nationally ranked Dance Team. Former Washington Wizards Dance Team Captain & Washington Redskins Cheerleader she performed for the troops in Kuwait, Iraq, and aboard the USS IKE.

Maya Rubio

Tedi Lynn

Instructor & Choreographer

Tedi graduated from Purdue University and was the Captain of the Purdue Golduster Dance Team. She performed in Beijing, China and represented Purdue at the Orange Bowl and the Detroit Motor City Bowl. She danced with the semi-professional Chicago Mustang Dance Team & MLS Chicago Fire Fire Starters. She won the UDA Exceptional Coach Award in 2009. Tedi was a youth and teen instructor at Pro Dance Elite studio; choreographed for National American Miss; spearheaded a dance program at Camp Robindel in New Hampshire. She is currently an NFL Cheerleader. 

Tiana Joelle

Instructor & Choreographer

Holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Dance from the prestigious University of Arizona. As an NFL Cheerleader, she’s performed on two military appreciation tours in Africa.  Modeling credits include the new music video “We been on” by Birdman, R. Kelly & Lil Wayne, Northern Virginia Magazine, international yoga magazine “OM.” Tiana is a certified personal trainer.
